Synopsis

In “Michael and Mary,” Mary, a young bride is deserted by her husband, Harry Price. Mary finds happiness with another man Michael. They enter into a bigamous marriage for the sake of their child. Years later Harry turns up and starts blackmailing them. During a quarrel with Michael, Harry has a heart attack and dies. After some complications David, their son, learns the truth but stands by Michael and Mary.

Historian’s Corner

The opening scene for “Michael and Mary” takes place in The London Museum in 1905. This set, along with three other scene changes, moving through time until 1934 made for some unique challenges for the permanent properties chairman and committee.
