Synopsis

The Gage family try to settle down in the old farmhouse they have acquired. Imagine their surprise when Jonathan and Mathilda Rockwood move in; they have the right to live in the house according to an old deed. As a contest for possession begins, the two families are isolated by a blizzard. Can the modern Gages get along with the old-fashioned Rockwoods? The show was a gentle and charming comedy.
