If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Historian’s Corner

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast was first performed at Players as the opening show of the 2006-2007 Season. Once again the magic of Disney came to Players to create one of the most successful revivals in recent history. The production including the cast, staff and crews were highly praised by both the reviewer and the audiences. The show had sold out during the first weekend of performances.

In addition to Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Community Players also held a Community Players Theater Summer Camp. Classes for students from the 5th to the 8th grade worked in all areas of theater production. The Summer camp culminated in a weekend production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. for June 24-26, 2016. The Theater Summer Camp was very successful.
