Synopsis

“Another Language” tells the story of the extended Hallam family ruled over by Mother Hallam with an iron hand. The story is built around the efforts of one of the daughters-in-law, Stella Hallam to escape the deadly family uniformity. She first tries to carry her husband, Victor with her, but before long it is clear that he will side with the family rather than her. When things come to a climax, Stella, the only one of the lot worth saving, seems to triumph.
