Historian’s Corner

With a vote by the Community Players board, action was taken to omit the bar room scene from the production. In this scene, Richard, the teenage son suffering the pangs of love, gets drunk and eventually gets his first kiss from a lady in the bar. Realizing the profession of the lady in the bar, and finding that he immediately lacks courage, Richard goes quickly home. Arriving home while still in a drunken state, Richard encounter his father.
