For the production of “To Kill A Mockingbird,” incidental music director Sally Hoffman Gowdy put together a choir of blacks voices walking through and singing at various important times throughout the play. This chorus of singers added an emotional impact to the production. Through the courtesy of a grant from the McLean County Arts Council and Chris Terven, high school students could get into the show free of charge. Also on the March 15th performance, a sign language interpreter was provided.
