Darraugh Griffin (Beneath Younger) is currently pursuing her BFA in Acting at Illinois Wesleyan University and is elated to be returning to the Community Players stage for A Raisin in the Sun! Previous stage credits include Stage Door, Wilderness, and The Lesson, with her last shows at Community Players being The Wedding Singer and A Few Good Men. "This show means so much to me and every time I read it, I discover something new. Lorraine Hansberry beautifully and realistically captures what it is to be a part of a minoritized group in America and how that affects our lives behind closed doors." She would like to thank her mom and partner for always being supportive; as well as the School of Theatre Arts faculty and the Raisin production team for allowing her this opportunity.
