Abby Hammer (House Manager) has a long history of performing! She started in a gifted program under D. Ann Jones when she was a young child. Abby continued theatre and music throughout her school career, performing in shows like Footloose and Nothing In Common. Then, Abby minored in musical theatre in college, where she’s performed in not just shows like Little Shop of Horrors, but also was on the improv comedy team. Next, Abby performed professionally for a while - getting her start at Six Flags St Louis as an entertainer. For the last 10 years, Abby has done Community Theatre here at CPT and also through companies in Decatur and Lincoln. Some favorite shows have been Beauty and the Beast (twice), Tarzan: The Musical, Newsies (side note - come to CPT’s Newsies and hear Abby’s sound design work!), Murder Cafe, and more! This is Abby’s second show back at CPT after suffering vocal chord paralysis due to complications from a surgery. So instead of being on stage, Abby is having a blast on the off-stage roles of theatre! She hopes you enjoy this hilarious play!
