Community Players Go Under the Sea with The Little Mermaid by Bob McLaughlin and John Lieder Ready for some fun in the water?  Community Players’ 2017 summer show will be the Disney version of The Little Mermaid.  This classic children’s tale is the story of a mermaid who, after saving a prince from drowning, longs to be human and makes a diabolical deal that may lead to the destruction of all she loves. The Little Mermaid began life as an 1837 fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.  In Andersen’s version, the mermaid longs for a human soul and ends (mostly) unhappily when the prince marries another, and the mermaid dissolves into sea foam and thence into the atmosphere, where she lives on as a spirit.

Some patrons choose their dates for all of the shows right away! All ticket orders are filled in the order in which they are received. Additional tickets may also be ordered at the time that you submit your season ticket order. Simply include a note and payment or charge card information.

The Board of Governors is excited to welcome the following officers to their new positions! Wendy Baugh - Vice President Ashleigh Rae-Lynn Feger - Secretary Jennifer Maloy - Costumes Bruce Parrish - Set, Shop & Props (appointed for a 1-year term) Kallie Bundy - Marketing Darlene Lloyd - Box Office Nyk Sutter - Membership (appointed for a 1-year term) Scott Myers - Fundraising Eli Mundy - Lights, Sound & Effects These positions were elected during the Annual Meeting on April 11, 2017 and came into effect on June 1, 2017. The above officers join the current Board of Governors members who are starting the second year of their two-year terms: Brett Cottone - President Chris Terven - Treasurer Jay Hartzler - House & Grounds Stephanie Duquenne - Ad Sales & PR Aaron Wiessing - Technology The current Board of Governors would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to several individuals for their service on the Board over recent years.
