Bruce Parrish, historian and Emeritis, has served Community Players for over 40 years. He is a past Board president and trustee and has held a variety of Board positions. Bruce has directed, produced, designed, built or performed in over 130 shows for Community Players. He most recently appeared in “Laughter on the 23rd Floor” and counts Big Daddy in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” as one of his favorite roles. Bruce has served as historian for over 27 seasons, and he co-authored a publication on the history of the organization in 1997. Community Players stage was named for Bruce and his wife, Kathy (also an Emeritis) for their years of service to the organization in 2012.

    This brand new decade is just getting started. Our Town will kick things off mid-way through our 97th season. Our 98th Season will be announced on January 25th, 2020.

    Community Players Theatre put on 71 shows in this decade, from Les Misérables-School Edition in the middle of our 86th season to The Addams Family, wrapping up our 97th.
